It is our approach to effect qualitative changes in the structure and framework of the society. This is a program that looks at the entire family needs and fashion a way of providing them through FSP
(a) Family Support Programme
Although human needs varies but there are some fundamental needs that are synonymous with every economically disadvantaged households. Such need include food, shelter, clothing, education, healthcare and infrastructure. In our desire to assists poor and vulnerable households and communities, we strive to provide social/health support, food parcels, clothing and other basic necessities to families in various communities.
We identify families that are vulnerable, orphan, orphanage homes and people who cannot afford to put food on their tables for our monthly food and material distribution. We also support them with medications, toiletries, pampers, cloths, school fees and payment of medical bills. We also support community health centres and clinics with medicine, beddings, blankets, towels, toiletries and other materials.
(b) Adolescent Reproductive Health Campaign Programme (ARHCP)
Adolescent Reproductive Health Campaign Programe is aimed at communicating directly with teenagers who are worst hit by adolescent reproductive health challenges due to their proximity and exposure to sexually transmitted infections and other challenges such as teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, STDs, abortion, drug abuse and rape which metamorphose from sexuality and other societal ills.
Research has shown that Adolescent Reproductive Health Education has for many years been grossly neglected in so many countries in Africa continent. Lack of information coupled with some traditional and cultural believe has made sexuality communication among parent-to-children, teachers-to-students a taboo in our society. SEX EDUCATION has never been part of our syllabus or curriculum in our institutions of learning; this has been identified as a major factor militating against Adolescent Reproductive Health in Africa.
We organize HIV/AIDS Anti-Teenage Pregnancy, Anti-Drug Abuse, Stop Rape Campaign in schools, churches, mosques, public places like markets, car parks, malls and house-to-house in various communities. We educate male teenagers on how to treat their wounds during and after Male Circumcision and organize workshops for traditional birth attendants. We communicate with them daily through our Publication and Media Interaction Programme, we also publish a newsletter (THE TEENAGERS) and other IEC materials which are distributed FREE during our campaign programmes.
We also have special reintegration programme for commercial sex workers through life skills, counseling, training and empowerment. .
